vegan icecream

Mister- Is it worth waiting in the line?

I've had more vegan ice cream this year than I have in my entire life. Mister has been dominating the Vancouver social media scene this entire year with their amazing specials. If you haven't been before, they make their ice cream fresh with liquid nitrogen. But is it worth waiting in line for?

Here are some pros and cons before you decide:

  • It's fresh before your eyes
  • Coconut ash is unique and also very tasty
  • Lots of options to choose from
  • Gram worthy

  • It melts fast
  • $7-8 dollars per cup, $1 extra for the cone. A cup is equivalent to a scoop and a half.
  • Line up takes forever
  • Will this trend last?

I think for myself, it was worth trying based on how many people have raved about it. My coconut ash ice cream was buttery smooth. I'm not entirely sure how healthy the black colouring could have been for my insides but I did it anyways.

Let me know what you thought of Mister, have you tried their Thai milk tea or their Mojito flavours?

Say Hello Sweets Ice Cream Social

I've had coconut ice cream before but nothing under the label of vegan ice cream. I assume it's pretty similar and perhaps there was one made out of cashew milk.

$6 for ice cream flight. I don't recall all the flavours that were being showcased but I'll try my best. The one with a scoop out of it was a coconut ginger one which was my fav. Then a more berry tone one. Finally a lime coconut one which was pretty fire.

$6 two slices of vegan cheese cake. Not bad but I think Chef Kari spoiled me at her house party with her vegan cheesecake.
