We’ve been on a roll lately exploring vegetarian restaurants in town. The Arbor was a spot that we came across while strolling on Main St. Depending how long the wait was, we were going to give it a shot. Thankfully, the line was short and we got in within 5 minutes.
The restaurant itself is very small, nicely decorated but very loud inside. I ordered the southern fried artichoke sandwich with fries and Lillian ordered the fungi pizza. The food took a while for it to come out so don’t come here if you’re starving already. As for the food, the sandwich was ok, the cheese inside overpowered everything inside the sandwich. My favourite out of the whole dish were the fries as they were how I like it (fish and chip style).
The pizza for me was meh, it really wasn’t anything special. I’d take Virtuous Pie over this pizza any day.
Perhaps it was our items that we ordered, I saw people order these Jackfruit Bao’s which looked delicious.
Overall, it was nice to try, but probably not a repeat for me.
