Location: 1097 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC
Meal: Baked Seafood on fried rice with coconut sauce. Baked chicken and pork chop on rice with tomato sauce.
Service: Surprisingly good for a Chinese restaurant. Multiple tea refills.
Atmosphere: Booth seating is awesome for better conversations. The restaurant is pretty big with a variety of tables.
Bottom line: I always thought Ken's Chinese Restaurant was related to Ken's Kitchen. Perhaps the are or maybe I'm mistaken. But the tour of Kingsway continues with Ken's Chinese Restaurant which is a Hong Kong Style restaurant.
We ordered two baked rices and must I say, it was wonderful. The only thing I would criticize is the iced lemon tea, it was lacking ice and flavour (comes with a drink with a meal). I'd definitely come back for more as the chicken and pork in my baked rice was really good.
Out the door price: $34 with tip
