Location: International Village Mall, 88 West Pender, Vancouver V6B 1R3
Meal: The 3 bbq meats on rice, wontons noodles with oyster sauce (soup on the side), and baby bok choy.
Atmosphere: Reminds me of Hon's
Service: Barely any service, no tea refills.
Bottom line: Met up with a friend for dinner and wanted to give this place a try. I've seen some awesome pics and reviews from some fellow food bloggers. Let's start off with the 3 bbq meats plate, the bbq pork was dry (a bit salty), the soy chicken was good (I appreciated the white meat), and the roast bbq pork was delish.
The wontons and noodles were also pretty good but the soup on the side was insanely salt. Nothing to complain or write home about on the baby bok choy. Overall, it was ok, I'd come back and try the pork liver congee for sure though. Pricing wise, mehhhhhh, $12 for the 3 meats plate...
Out the door price: Under $32 with tip.
