Location: 830 Thurlow St, Vancouver, BC
Meal: Cheeseburger combo, comes with fries and drink.
Atmosphere: Felt like if Guy Fieri opened up his own burger place.
Service: Order at the counter and wait for the food. Like really wait... It took way longer that it really should have. Am I mistaken? Is this not a fast food place?
Bottom line: I'll start the end to end review. Walking in, I wasn't turned off by the decor or anything, looked self explanatory. Order, get your receipt, fill up your own cup (Those space age Coke machines), and wait for your food to be called. I stood there for a couple minutes but decided to sit down (glad I did). It took about 10 minutes before my number was called, for a fast food place, that's eternity.
The food itself was alright, burger felt a little small but that's In and Out style sizing. But the price is no where near In and Out pricing unless they did some US- CAD conversion. Fries, I was really excited about the fries, but the cooked consistency was off. Some were perfect, while other fries were totally over done. It wasn't awful, but I wasn't wowed.
Out the door price: Under $15 with tip
Repeat: Unfortunately no, I rather eat elsewhere for $15.
**New heading** This is where I score the restaurant out of 5 faces. 1 face is bad while 5 faces equal awesome. Thank you Quin, Caitlin, and Jess (heads up, you may see your faces next).
