Meal: Satay Fatty Beef Rice Noodle Soup and triple-decker peanut butter and condensed milk sandwich
Service: The service here is ok, better than Congee Noodle House.
Atmosphere: Fancy HK style cafe with fancy pricing.
Bottom line: I've been to Cafe Gloucester a number of times but never reviewed it before. I usually ordered the baked pork chop on rice but I was hankering some soup. Based on the sweet photo, I picked the Satay Fatty Beef Rice Noodle Soup (rice noodle is an extra $1). Soup was very rich, the beef was Japanese Style fatty and it was delish.
My friend Tina ordered the triple decker peanut butter and condensed milk sandwich. It didn't come as imagined and frankly, it felt like a rip-off, says Tina.
Out the door price: Bill came out to under $23 with tip
Final Rating: 3.5/5
